House Issues Magazine, May/June 2024, was inspired by magazines of the 90's, particularly Street Beat Magazine. The look was the 90's aesthetic, loud, vibrant with a bit of a cut & paste style.

Magazine: School

This was a magazine created by 3rd graders at Rio del Sol in Oxnard, CA.

The project highlighted steelhead trout fish Indigenous communities and how environmental & man-made elements affect the steelhead trout fish population.

This student-led research project was featured in the local newspaper, Ventura County Star.

Students were in charge of design, photography, writing and editing. I volunteered my publishing, & layout skills for the project. We donated the cost of printing these magazines for the students in full color glossy paper.

They presented this project to the school, where  Oxnard City Council members attended and took photos with the students.
